Buses are great

I forgot to get the bus out of the garage last week or more honestly I could not be bothered. So today I grabbed the keys and emptyed the water trap thingies.
A few pumps of gas and off we go half hour later I'm home smiling

That is all

 

I like the fact that they haven't changed the route numbers in over 50 years ...

 

Is it a big route then 50 years for a trip how much is a return

No buses in York today. Is everywhere else the same?

There seemed to be hoards of people hoofing it in to town from the park and ride station.

 

Mine was out but no passengers. And what's a clippie.

 

A bit before my time I’m afraid but sure one of the more mature members will be along to explain soon

 

It`s great not to drive the bus for a few months and enjoy the ride when it`s taken out , just feels
`special` , Like the first time

Must admit i fell out of love when forced into being used as a daily for a year or two but now i drive it because i WANT to , not because i HAVE to

I like buses, they are free of charge.

 

its a perk of being old, in the summer its nice to take the bus to Brighton or Eastbourne and not pay a penny.

does anyone remember On the Buses, it was a good laugh but probably politically incorrect by modern standards and very sexist as well. I liked Blakey.
