Bus Jam @ Stonham Barns, Suffolk

Discussion in 'Shows Events You've Missed unless you went' started by StevieJD, Jul 1, 2014.

  1. Anyone been in previous years? Any good?
It's on our list of possible shows to go to and it's reasonably priced (compared to some other shows:() at £50 for weekend family tickets and camping.

  2. Went the year before last , therefore did not bother going last year. I heard it was not to hot. It was very nice , very small , a couple of stalls and a few stalls, some nice buses. Each to their own you may enjoy it , It was ok, and a nice day out, but there are other ones I would spend my money on also I don't really like the venue.

  3. Zed

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

Stopped there 20 years ago when one of the kids was being car sick. Dry, dusty place with unhelpful staff at the time. :)

  4. Cheers @Row, sound like it may not be worthwhile after all.

  5. Well despite all I have said we are going only as its cheap and we were going to go camping anyway :)

  6. we went wont go again poorly organised . mostly for those who did dubvaction lasted a night due to storms . Feel really sorry for those who paid a tenner to get in yesterday nothing going on 4 stalls ( to be fair to the organisers the pitchs were free but hardly any takers. Would have inenjoyed it more if we had gone with people. Dont like stonham barns anyway. One burger stand and one hot dog stand restaurant stops serving at 4 should really listen to my own advice !

  7. Just a summary, no plan of events, no one knew what was going on only the chap organising it .....even then what we were told was wrong , really shame but a lot of the week stayers really enjoyed and probably as all the ring stuff was based on them.....rounders......sheep dog herding game ......us weekenders just sat about and walked around the weird lost in an odd Yarmouth type time warp shops
