Bumper issue !

I've just fitted a new exhaust to the crewie ,and on fitting the bumper for the 1st time it is fouling the exhaust due to the curved bracket off the bumper . I've looked at the bumper set up on my flagbus and the brackets differ see pics . Do i need to alter the curved bracket or is a alternative available ? Cheers.

Not sure what the problem is. Is the exhaust hitting the towing eye?

 

towing eye goes on the left hand side as you look at the rear of the bus

 

Yes it is , needs to move towards the bus another few inches hers exhaust pic. It sits on J tubes.

I know what you mean , but the right handed curved iron which is interfering with exhaust can't be swapped to the left ..... or can it ? If it's supposed to be on the left how come mine isn't .

I think you can get towing eyes for both sides. Just try swapping them over

Is that a vintage speed exhaust? I remember being told that they could be a problem when I got one for the Pickup.

Yes it is Bern, had a very long and eventful wait for it (another story) . To be fair it only took me 20 minutes to fit it .
