I've just had a look at the Bugjam web site for ticket prices and was ammazed that a weekend ticket (VW) was £50 and weekend ticket (non VW) is £70. So for me and a mate it will be an extra £40 just because my van is not on the road as yet (or have I got the wrong end of the stick :), is there any discount for club members? Sorry if this is in the wrong place.
Yes that's right, this is because of the amount of non vw's that turned up last year for a vw show (who didnt actually come for the show, just the 'festival') and because of which Santa pod had to close the gates even to people with tickets. It is an extreme measure but one that is taken to try and return the show to a VW based show and not just full of teenagers causing trouble.
If its a VW event and no-one went in a VW then it wouldnt be one would it! You have tyo draw the line somewhere.
If it makes you feel better I ended up going to 4 shows in a tent as my bus wasn't ready and as such had to pay the premium price.
