We haven't got a buddy seat so I started making one.

12mm MDF cut by B&Q. Love to do it myself but don't have the tools to do it as straight or as fast as they can.

All pieces labelled ready to go.

I have the cutting list if anyone is interested.

Within an hour it was at this stage. [IMG]

I plan to round the side corners and bullnose the top edges.

It still needs hinges, lifting apertures, opening apertures and paint.

Made with the ideal of holding our food so build around the size of a collapsible crate. We can fill it up in the kitchen then just drop it in.

You 2 don't eat much while your away :)

I'd be interested in knowing the sizes and your template. I quite fancy a little box like this myself.

  7. I got some ply and some lengths of wood from a builder merchant recently and they had a notice up saying cuts were 20p each, the guy doing it didn't put it down on the tally sheet so when I went in to pay there was no charge, much cheaper than B&Q too
