Buddy seat brackets

  1. Good morning all.

I have purchased a buddy seat and need to understand how they are stored and how they attach to the bulkhead..

Any images of how the brackets look.

  2. That looks like a second buddy seat that slots on to the first one which has a bracket mounted behind the passenger seat that allows it to fold up ad down.

  3. Makes sense.. I may just modify this one then and fab a hinge.

    Thank you for the response

  4. It does. If they're Devons, it slots into the side of the folding one to give a two-seater.

  5. Yup
I’ve got one of each in the shed that I may or may not be fitting in the van down the line.
I’ll have to cut off and re weld the brackets that accept the second seat though as mines a lhd and they are designed for rhd

What’s the height of it folded? I was going to fit one to the side of my cooker unit but think the height folded would be above the top of the unit.

  8. I'll have a measure after I've had me (very late) tea.

  9. Right (tea not ready yet): from the pivot point on the bracket with it in the right position for seat height, it's about 380mm to the top of the cushion with the seat folded up.

@leflipflop if you don't mind me asking, where did you buy your buddy seat from? I have the left hand one that fixes to the wardrobe, but not the right hand one that clips on to the left seat
