Don't bother putting the cable up, use a plug in WiFi/Internet extender. I can't remember their exact name at the mo' I bought a pair for @Ermintrude and I think they helped whilst her internet was slow.

  2. Watch out if you get fibre, we have it to property (FTTP) and while trying to get a new contract apparently somehow that means most suppliers can't give us their fibre!... which means your stuck to BT and if you're a customer you can't have any of their deals ....

  3. Sounds like the early LCD TVs - had HD Ready emblazoned all over the box, but hardly anyone was broadcasting HD quality back then.

It should be BT Fibber, not fibre.

When I left bt a year ago after their latest price hike, they said I couldn't get a refund of my paid-up-front line rental. It was only after I pointed out that oftel has ruled that you can, that they reluctantly agreed. Strangely, the credit on my acount was listed as broadband service refund, not line rental!

Phoned sky to reconnect tv and they have offered fibre
I told the sales guy if it doesn't work I will be slightly angry and let him know my thoughts but he assured me if its offered on the system I should be able to connect.
    So lets see.
