  1. image.jpg image.jpg Im horrible with electric stuff
    . This is no exceptioin
The bus is from usa in the eu . So im ok with using a plug adapter .
Is this a converter or just a fuse box thingy.
Might wanna get a new one . Anyone buy one of thes pe somwhere ?
its just a fus box .im pretty sure .
I guess im just getting my head into it .
    Only 3 inches deep.
Notice the fine bavarian china !

  2. That's a Westy Berlin standard (USA) socket.

It's purely a 110v socket, no convertor or anything like that.

    Behind it, under the bed, there's a 110v - 12v convertor.

I would (and have done) rip it all out and fit a 240v setup.

I managed to fit 2 double sockets in place of the USA sockets.

  3. Thanks ! Out it goes ! Ill try and keep the frame part/ box

Its actually refreshing this year ...that im worried about electrical plugs ,stoves , and curtains than

Welding in complete floors ..stering boxes and engine removals ...!

  5. image.jpg Theres no invrter. Just a direct outlet to the oustide of the camper ,
It all looks fresh inside the box
So i just might change the usa plugs and the breaker to eu 220
    . Instal a srperate converter system . . Down the road .
I have a two battery system in putting in .. Being i have two new batteries.and trays .
Not to get off topic , but im looking for the obviously cheapest easiest way to do that?
Trying to keep the budget this year. Last year was dear....
Like the curtains ! I think im getting a bit soft , Maybe theres a tick in the engine so i
Have something manly to do ???? Lol

  6. Oh ok.

Yours looks similar to mine and there was an inverter to turn the 110v to 12v for the fridge.

I'd be wary about using electrics that old!

I now have a feed from the engine bay into the under bed area, where all my sockets, RCD and charger is.

  7. Wires are excelent . I pulled them . But my german neighbor is an electriction .
So , number one ,,,, hes an electriction , hes got. It all
    number two ...

Hes german !!! Meaning , i can sleep well.
To bad. Hes mot a mechanic for vw.

  8. Ah, fair enough :)

I got my kit from Xtreme Vans.

They might have the bits you're after.

  9. Actually yif you open up that boz the breakers are rated at 240 volt. However I would still change it all out for new UK stuff personally

  10. Im actually in germany , but i get it ...
The box says 110/220 . But maybe the breaker needs to be changed as well of course as the plug .
    Ill do both
