    Tuesday wildchild I'm a circle!

But we wouldn't know any difference so be just not a problem.

  2. Sadly we're losing a lot of our regional accents with many being diluted through each generation. I love the colourful accents we have and the brummie is one of my favourites as it sounds friendly. My southern accent seems dull in comparison.

  6. I cannot judge your level of offence -so I cannot answer your question - But because you were offended - does that mean it is OK to offend someone else!

  8. they are quite ugly thou :D

  9. My question (Do you think you're more offended than me?) was kind of tongue in cheek. I'm a Brummie, and the post is about a survey which puts my accent at the bottom of the list of ugly accents. And I actually said that I wasn't offended. Although I have good reason to be. I suppose It just shows that some people are easier to offend than others. I'm not really that bothered what anyone thinks of my accent :hattip:

I defo prefer South Liverpool accents to North Liverpool any day, lar

  12. Neither am I really bothered nor am I really offended - nor am I a true scouser but many in my family are. - but I do like a good argument - especially when I have the moral high ground

I'm the same, mine is a mixture of Scottish (Edinburgh & Western Isles), Aussie & American (New England). It also changes according to who I'm speaking to (according to Ms.T).

i'm gobsmacked nobody has tagged me in this post and claimed i am one, proper brummie accent isn't my favourite but it's surely not the worst? i'm not a fan of Northern accents myself like scouse or geordie - more on women than men though, sorry if that offends any of the ladies but it just does annoy me, cheryl cole or suchlike - fine until they open their gob.

  20. I quite like the Geordie accent.
About 20 years ago i spent some time working at the Electrolux factory in Spennymore, County Durham. The guys there had a brilliant sense of humour, and their accents accentuate it.
