Breakdown help near car fest!

Not broken down (on foot)...
You really do, I remember acquiring a procession of Arabs and Africans in Cairo at 3am all slightly suspecting each other of no good. We ended up staying with one of them.
Same thing in Amsterdam - no money, spent a week staying with a variety of complete strangers... none of whom were Dutch.

Right, so now I’ve been pinged on the nhs app I can’t do the wedding I was booked to do on friday (booked a couple of years ago and cancelled due to covid)and I feel awfull about it. I’m returning all of their money obviously but if there is anyone with a nice bay near the fox and coney in south cave HU15 who is available for a few hours on Friday afternoon starting at 12:50 I would love to pass your details on?

So it was a Sunday afternoon in some well out of the way Welsh hamlet ,about 4 houses and a farm .we rolled to a stop outside a lovely looking cottage ,an old boy comes and leans on the gate and says to me ," you've broken down haven't you ,yep I replied ,come on I'll put the kettle on he says ,so we go into the cottage where his wife starts laying the table for tea and cake.
We used their phone to ring for breakdown recovery and then we all. 4 moved to sit in the bay with the tea and cakes while the old couple related the story of the bay they had owned and how they spent 3 months travelling through France and Spain ,they both ended up in tears as the memory of the trip came back to them.
I'd already worked out what had caused the breakdown but the old boy wanted to have a look to see if he could fix it ,sad to say he didn't have a fuel pump in the shed .
