Brazilian version spare tier in front

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by KyleJia, Oct 15, 2021.

  1. I checked almost everywhere and there has no solution to put real tier in front due to this verion is not support it at all.
So I did some tricks to made that on, and the tier is very solid and steady when I drive it.
Now, It becomes a real spare tier rather than a normal fake cover or tier box. You guys can't imagine how I modified it and put it on without breaking the engine cooler. [IMG]

Doesn’t it reduce air flow through the radiator?

  3. It does a little, but not that much, besides, the summer here are not that hot.

    I wouldn’t bother.
It’s not designed to have a spare on the front like a real one.

  5. The parts of the grille that you have left exposed are to the side of the radiator, so I'd say you've lost 75% of the air flow to the radiator. The water cooled circulation loop on these is long and needs to be as efficient as possible. I would imagine you will have the cooling fan running a lot of the time to compensate.

    I don't think its a good idea.

That's great, when you have little bump not only do you ruin the front panel but the radiator to,

    If it suits, it suits

  7. Who needs a spare anyway,,,? If you can mount a tow truck on the front. Then I’d say go for it.
