Brand bew driveshaft bolts sheering?

    I fitted 24 of these bolts today without rounding any off, you need 2 hands and a small extension. Bottom of wheel top of gearbox, spin the wheel 180 and repeat. :)

  2. Yep. 12-pointed tri-square. The one I got from JK was fine. Torx is a different profile.

  4. 23ft lb is over 31 Nm. Seems very high for and m6 bolt, it would surely yield long before that. An M8 torque is
    19- 26nm, 31 is even high for that.

  5. Got them off. Eventually. Splined or Allen head? What's better in anyone's opinion?
