brake return spring

  1. That really big return spring on the brake shaft ,to change it(one on mine snapped, got a new one) much of a job? anything I should be looking out for ? or time consuming grunt and groan/sweat?

  2. Fairly straight forward. Just remember to completely remove the pedal pinch bolt otherwise it will just rattle about but not slide off the shaft. A large screwdriver or similar is usefull in persuading the hook end of the spring to catch on the retaing lug.

  3. Ta Fritt,shall attack it (with gusto?)later.

  4. Its a one man job you won't need your mate Gusto to help! :D
