Bottom tin ware.

  1. I'm talking about the two that goes under the push rod tubes which bolts onto thruway exchanger and engine.

    I've havnt refitted mine yet. But the engine seemed to run cooler without them. Or should i refit.

    My logic is when I'm driving I'm getting the air go over them.

    Do I need them or does the engine fan blow air down there.

    It's a 2.0 Type 4 engine.

    Yes - they send the air out back at the exhaust - cooling the silencer is good because the gases contract and flow is improved. Makes your thermostat work properly too. :)
