Booking an hotel. Reviews, do they really help?

The hotel i stayed in just after Xmas had a killer sash window ,no weights and broken glass .A man could have lost his fingers or worse

 

No you need a car to park outside .

 

tbh I'd rather stay in a bad review hotel ,just for the comic value...

 

How about the ladybirds,not one or two but hundreds,and the flood from above when a couple two floors up overfilled the bath and both got in ,at one in the morning
