Body shop recommendations

Discussion in 'Restorations' started by Phills, Mar 25, 2017.

  1. Hi all,
I am looking for recommendations for any good body shops in the Arbroath/Dundee area as I have a few smallish holes that require attention.

If you need a few wee bits welded up try calling big colin ( cant remember his second name right now ) hes a mobile restorer. turns out a good repair and has done complete camper previously.. or you could trundle past my way.. I dont do as much as I used to but if there smallish jobs I would consider it .. Cant really think of where a camper would need small areas welded though, mine only had big areas of rust that extended into even larger areas ;)

I would also recommend a buddy in Forfar who does a tidy weld . but then they bring stuff to me as well LOL.

Ps Colin advertises now and again on ebay in classic cars for sale

Did you get yourself fixed up with a decent coachworks / repairer...

  5. @redoxide, thanks for your replies, I have not had a chance to take it any further as on holiday at the moment, I intend on getting something done when I get back, the guy Colin has popped up previously when I did an online search and going buy his adverts he is about 2 mins from my house so might give him a call. I have a few small holes in the front panel where the spare wheel holder has been also where there has previously been an aerial also similar small holes on other panels.
