I'm going to the Upton Blues festival later this year

I'm hoping that someone has the right vibe for songs like

Sitting by the side of the road

My flat 4 is burning but it leaves me cold

The rains gettin to me

Stir that gear stick and grind my gears

It should be a cracker I can't wait

Don't mind a bit of blues, Joe Bonamassa or Dan Patlansky style, more than that is a bit much for me. Now if you need a proper rock fix, there's a Chester band called The Argonauts that are worth watching

 

I’ve seen Dan twice now back when Mr Kypps in Poole was still open.

I've only seen him once which I'm sure was as a support slot to Joe Satriani. Normally a full night of guitar twiddling would bore me but it was brilliant. I can still remember the keyboard/guitarist with Joe Satriani doing a solo with one hand on the guitar and the other on the keyboard playing the same melody in unison! Pretty sure it was a bloke called Mike Kineally
