  1. Anyone know how these things are supposed to work?
Putting it into bed position is easy but it doesnt rock and roll back into a seat. I have to lean right over and break my back trying to pull the (insert bad word) thing up while also trying to lift and manovure the front, it is such a pain in the (bad word)

  2. That's how it works. It can be hard to pull the seat back up when it's flat in the "bed" position. I screwed a loop of carpet to it that I can grab hold of. Still a bit of a struggle getting it upright, tho'

  3. mine you just push the bottom hard and it all goes back up toseats....its a bluebird old one....need a new one, full width coz i cut mine to 3/4...need more space for my hoes

  4. I used a nylon webbing strap similar to one on a gas bottle restraint, looped on the back of the seat so it's dead easy to pull up.The bed came with a handle to pull up or down? anyway there was no room at the side for it and it didnt seem to work..so we left it in the garage

    bekyip and snotty like this.
  5. Zed

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

I retro fitted westy hinges when I found mine didn't rock and roll. Mind your back.

  6. We didn't add a strap but should have (good idea!!!) and as jivedubbin said the handle is useless. To be honest we were quite pleased it went with Colin when we sold him as we'd always hated it and found it really awkward to use. The welds on the seat came away too so it used to bang loudly whenever you sat on it and this was the replacement one they sent us

Thank god we have a Westy one now :D
