  3. Like the pictures Barney. I must have walked along there at one time or another and whilst I can see Reculver in the distance I don't recognise the cafe...is it above the sea wall?

  4. Ours are exactly the same - you're right, they are just like kids! :)

  5. Minnis bay by the sailing club , its a bar restaurant too , the nice old surf one down bit further was closed, they do good grub in their too.

  6. Was/is a lovely day. I enjoyed taking the dogs along the seafront for a constitutional.Time for a cuppa and watch Genevieve on the idiots lantern now.

  7. Re my query...
Got it...I've just been informed that we haven't done the stretch between Reculver and Birchington despite being camped at Quex Park last summer, which would explain it all. Bet she remembers the conversation next time we have a sunny day....

  8. quex park is nice , did you stay by the country house n the elephant lions tigers n stuff:D , you can walk right through from reculver via pub and crayfish farm n thru to minnis for expensive lunch ;)

  9. Yes the Motorcaravan section of the C& C C have a THS there each year....okay so we do stick out a bit amongst the posh stuff but theres no hassle . I was aware of an expensive restaurant somewhere in that direction but having a large breakfast at the Barn (less 10% for being on the THS) curbs the need for lashing out later on..not that I'm mean you understand.:D

Jivedubbing, wonderful film, laughed all the way through. Big fan of John Gregson and Kenneth More , plus their co stars are quite lovely as well.
