Its actually a rose arch over the garden gate with dark pink roses, it gets a good hack back every couple of years and seems to like the untrained pruning

The first house I bought needed everything doing to it and I was forever working on something. The next one didn't and I've spent 20 years watching it fall apart after an initial flurry of activity. House maintenance and improvement is over-rated. Nice flowers though everyone. I won't take any pictures of my "nature" garden.
