Neighbours on each side have cats - 5 collectively, add this to the fact that the PO of my house used to feed them now my front and back yards are bloody litter trays - grass gets cut every couple of weeks and 20+ piles of doo gets thrown back to them! Love animals - hate them f*@!ing cats! Rant done (mine anyway)
It is a pain having to clear up after them. I put a couple of plant troughs at the front of the house last year, and within days they had been "used". I now have these out front and back, http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004SGC75S/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They seem to be working
For every mouse they catch they kill untold numbers of voles shrews and songbirds, I HATE! cats BUT this one has sort of brought me around a bit
That is a cat with attitude! I have 2 cats and frequently want to punch one of them as it keeps bringing me dead shrews (I love shrews) There are loads of blooming rats on the farm so why doesn't she catch them?
They did a documentary on one female cat, she ignored rats and mice as they were too quick or tough and only killed shrews and voles When they laid out what she had killed in a month it was terrible, none of the deaths were quick ether. A lady in our village has about 20 cats, I saw her one day and she had a bag of little bodies, she showed me and said look at all the mice they have bought in, I looked in the bag there were song bird chicks a baby hedgehog, I pointed out that there wasn't a mouse in there, she thought shrews and voles were mice. I am sure people who move to the country from town feel that they must get a pet and as they work all day get a cat.
Yeah me to, i am not sure if it is them working or me throwing lumps of wood at them, maybe both !!!!!
Out tom managed to get a hare through the catflap. The back door and kitchen looked like a massacre had taken place. It was at least twice his size. Our Mofo certainly lived up to his name
