Inspired by his weight loss thread I went to the local sports hall last night and played Badminton with my grown up kids.




The hospital appointment is on Thursday.

Badminton is a bloody odd game. I don't have the hand eye coordination nor the ability to predict the speed of the shuttle. More recently im just to old and fat to even try.

 

Hurry up and get better, then you can enter the next badminton competition at the gym

 

Someone I know did the same, his "mates" encouraged him to run it off, as it were. Oh dear. Got his own back by leaving one of the mates to pack up his power kites and buggy after he tore his knee ligaments.

they won then , age gets us all in the end , watching a prog last night if you try to loose too much weight when you get older , you will look much older than you did and need plastic surgery or your wife leaves you for someone who looks younger, expensive game ta play .
