I hate then, I really do. But this morning it's my daughter's turn for one and she really really hates then and I'm waiting outside the doctors as I can't go in with her. I've tried all sorts of distractions, hopefully they will find a vein - she would make a rubbish junkie thankfulky. Kim is described as a COVID along hauler. She can barely walk around the block and has started using an inhaler. I'm hoping after going through all of the blood test stuff the doctors will be able to help. Sent from my BND-L21 using Tapatalk
Fingers crossed she gets sorted out successfully, sounds awful. I have noticed since March when I had my illness, I have been more breathless than beforehand.
I took over a month to feel normal (ish) again but I get Chostocondritis. Kim has just been so out of it - she still has a poor sense of smell as well as breathlessness, tight chest and no energy. Blood test went well (as they can go) - soaking feet in a bowl of hot water, a hot water bottle and big jumper and dressing gown helped, possibly Sent from my BND-L21 using Tapatalk
At the time I thought nothing of it until I struggled with my breathing either sat up or lay down, aches all over, eyes stinging..it was not pleasant. I put it down to running Gusbus with inadequate ventilation in the garage. Once over the worst I got better quite quickly however, the breathing I mentioned. It did take weeks to get rid of a mucus. Dressing gown..bar of chocolate..crappy tv, she will be fine I'm sure.
We have been, cheers I don't normally take Kim to get blood tests as I'm not that helpful but Heather is getting ready for a virtual interview using MS Teams - for which I'm in standby for tech support at 11am Sent from my BND-L21 using Tapatalk
Waiting for the full results report but text from docs says she has 'a high cell count' but doesn't say which cells, presuming red or white? To add to this she got a letter this morning from work saying they are making 2 out of the 4 admins redundant. It just us bloody raining a full feckin' downpour for her Sent from my BND-L21 using Tapatalk
Sorry to hear all this @Louey, sounds like you’ve all been through the wringer one way or another. Hopefully they’ll get Kim on a ‘recovery’ type programme and she can start to feel better. Good luck
Likely white cell count I would have thought, if so, it means her body thinks it's fighting something. Hope she gets better soon :fingers crossed:
Blimey, hope she gets better soon @Louey. I think there seem to be more symptoms/effects of Covid than we know about. , Bad news on the job front, especially if Kim still not 100%, do her bosses know that? As may be a decider. Good luck Heather, is it a job interview for herself?
Heather didn't get the job found out not long after posting yesterday. Kim's employers don't know about her not being well- thought she would be better before her furlough ended. They are a close knit family run company so they'll probably keep on their family employees. They didn't tell Kim at the beginning of the lockdown that they were closing - she was off isolating before lockdown. She only found out of another colleague by luck. I don't think she'll fight the redundancy as she isn't fit for work, and one of the other girls would be in a very tough situation if she loses this job (lives on her own). I'm the only one in a permanent fully paid position at the moment Sent from my BND-L21 using Tapatalk
wish you all good luck and hope you get a result it is the fear or the unknown that is the worst thing
