Van battery isn't up to much but hey ho, (just about started friday to go away for weekend) went out to the beetle this morning to go to work and it was as flat as a witches tit, barely spun over (even though it started yesterday) so had to run to my shed and drop the start and charge on it to go to work, just shows the first good cold spell has shown the battery as u/s and to back that theory up it's been on charge for 20 mins at work and already shows full! now gonna have to shop for two batteries but the van will have to wait as i don't rely on it like the car GRRRRRRRR! (and i was late for work - good job i'm in charge)

  3. Hahaha :p I think it didn't want to start because it knew that you had forgotten you scissor's and trimmer's :D Bet my little polo will start and that hasn't been started in at least a month! :p

  4. ... same happened to my motorbike this morning. Had a new battery about 2 months ago, and MOTed a couple of weeks ago. Turned over slightly then stopped. Had to jump it using the booster I keep for the van. Which I still haven't had a chance to look at why that wont start.

I think my driveway might be a SE London Bermuda Triangle.

oh my god, check these idiots out - the beetle battery looks a pig to swap but never use these guys..... stick with it, it's 12 min long but some of the crap he spouts is legend!. i have a plan at the moment to try to save some cash, gonna see if the van battery will fit the beetle (should do it's an 063) which is the same dimensions as an 075 but less powerful, if it works for a bit i can buy my van one 1st.
