blinds in a bay ?!?!

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by gumbo, Sep 7, 2013.

  1. I've seen a few vans with rear window blinds.
    anyone know who makes these?

I'm wondering if it would be possible to have all the rear windows with blinds 'somehow'
would need to be fixed so they wouldn't rattle about when driving. ....

anyone have thoughts on whether this is just a crazy idea or ....
    what you think?

In my head it looks great! Lol

@zed has some rather natty ideas and did blinds in his bus.

  3. I looked at this and googled it and found a company doing blinds for t2s. Trucking expensive though.

  4. Zeds are roller blinds, rather than slatted venetian blinds. I'm guessing you mean the ones like you can get in the back of Beetles?

They don't open and close do they? Moulded plastic things I think...

  6. I'm thinking open & close blinds . if they were made to measure by a blind company & tensioned top & bottom I think it 'could' be possible.
Wooden blinds wouldn't rattle like thin metal ones.

Saw some in a splitty once - the guy had attached them top and bottom and they looked pretty good. I think he said that they were just standard fittings he'd bought from a blind place and the narrowest slats you can get.

You must need ear plugs driving with them
