I can't see VW being alone in this, but can see the defence being it passes the test because it actually complies with the test conditions.

I think all US bases manufacturers are papping themselves about the MPG figures their cars have to meet soon.

    Buy shares in Tesla!

  7. I wish some of my cars had something to help pass the emission - it's fail or super nail biting close every year - except for the bus needing acceptable levels of smoke! Maybe VW were 40 years ahead of their time...

  10. Think it's going to get worse before it gets better for VW and other manufacturers who are bound to have been / are doing the same!

Volkswagen says 11 million vehicles worldwide are involved in the scandal that has erupted over its rigging of US car emissions tests.

  11. this is making a packet for the stock brokers n loosing millions off of pension and other investments as usual

  12. Well it sounds like VW allegedly kept back information about this scandal for a while which means the door may be open for shareholder lawsuits as well as the possible civil and criminal cases they might need to answer. I don't think it's an exaggeration that this whole scandal could actually bankrupt VW group

I only like vw's because if their low emissions. My world is now full of stress and upset. So I think £47k will make up for it :)
