400th post - again . Balance , is a word that springs to mind when i realise this is my second lot of 4000 posts on tlb , get a life is what i should do , i mean the suns out my vans fixed i'm off work for a fortnight and i am sat here posting on tlb ?, Gordon Bennet Malc surely there's more to owning a camper than writing about it . In reallity its not quite as bad as that , i do have a life it centre's around work and family as most peoples do , i work nights Lou works days and at time's i am home alone ,tlb keeps me company when i'm not running around doing the myriad of things we modern day parents do to bring our children up in a rounded environment , a good clip round the ear and send em to bed early seemed to work for my parents - i don't go with that so we are involved parents . Well one of the best ways to be involved is to take them places , trips out , go camping or just walking because you do one thing when you do these things - you talk to them and that is the secret to a stable family ,just chatting that was a big part of buying the camper in the first place ,the fact it needed practically rebuilding before we could use it was a bit of a blow . Well the sun is out and the summers on its way big time , me , Lou n Will are getting ready to take the van out , hopefully it will be friday and a dash up North before a gentle amble next week through the Welsh mountains on route to the beach somewhere . Hopefully the sun will keep shining and we can dodge the spots all week , if not its a long summer and i am sure we can catch a few rays at some time in the year if the van keeps going , because the plan is to take advantage of every sunny opportunity we get at the weekends . So maybe it will take me a little longer this time around to Reach 5000 posts .When i say this time around i mean since the great crash , i had over 5000 post on the old site . Fingers crossed - This year is camping year !.
What a lovely read whilst I enjoy lunch in the sun! Our buses are very much a family project too! The kids are really enjoying helping out with the restorations and can't wait til we are camping in it! Neither can we Wishing you a wonderful season of camping and happy travelling! Its not about quantity its all about quality but happily Malc scores highly on both counts so I will join in slagging him off by saying GET A LiFE Saddo!
