blew a fuse

  1. So went away on Saturday and the stereo (that runs of my leisure battery) conked out pretty quick and I realised a fuse in my split charge relay set up was fried..

no worries - swapped in a new one

question is - do fuses just blow from time to time which is nothing to worry about, or is a blown fuse indicative of a bigger problem?

  2. I'd investigate, Fuses do sometimes expire for no reason, but I'd suspect summit's up with the split charge setup or your leisure battery being flat.

  3. car audio fuses blew from time to time ....esp 5 amps on modern cars .........you can also blow fuses just by connecting the car audio to the loom via the connectors.....good luck our henry bruv ,recon if it happends again then chase the wires back and see whats going on ,if its sunny bruv ,come on over and ill chuck a multimeter on it and check it over for you ......peace out brother from another mother
