Why do we even have a Black Friday - it's supposed to be the day after Thanksgiving when everyone is still at home eating and giving thanks rather than out buying stuff that they don't need - but not in Uk. So it must be a scam

Black Fridays all about Tec sales You can save a lot off money but you have to be quick. I bought a apple mac air on black friday form john lewis two year warranty saved over £200 and more because PC word wanted to sell me microsoft word and Excel and anti virus hardware the young girl at John lewis said you don't need any of them so she explained apple have pages and numbers and you can export them to word and excel plus you don't need virus programs because its a Mac. So that saved me another £300 plus Best tec I've ever bought. They as once you've had a Mac there's no going back.

If you get a genuine bargain that’s great but stores are notorious for hiking the price on an item for a brief period, then bringing it back down to pretty much the same price it was normally and trying to pass it off as the consumer saving hundreds Still, Black Friday....It’s great!
depends how you define a scam. more a ruse in my opinion. I for one make it a priority not to buy a single thing on this day.
