So the bitcoin is being stolen by hackers , and by more old skool methods.. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/201...itcoin-heist-trader-forced-gunpoint-transfer/
Yep everyone is finding ways to rob from others , the internet will steal all our money one day you mark my words as the older generation used to say we are all doomed
Investors in Bitcoin accept the risks and they go into it knowing they could lose their money. In my mind, the worst kind of robbery is the big company that uses the staff pension fund to reward their directors and pay themselves big bonuses, just before their company goes bust and the employees are forced to take a pension hit. Is that robbery or fraud?
Sometimes the problems come because just like Bitcoin , the pension the employees were promised was too good to be true (or afforded by the company.. so they have to go bust to avoid it)
Fortunately I am drawing my pensions now, but it must be a worry for people paying into a pension fund for years only to find their fund is gone or reduced when they retire and rely on it.
The figures that was predicted ,were back in the day that the pots weren’t being robbed by greedy city types who now treat any bonuses as theirs not yours . It’s just so bent it’s not true, htf can they earn such massive wages and bonuses if they arnt making lots off unaware investors , it’s a what’s yours is theirs to keep when they win and when they loose it’s yours .
Barn the whole banking system is corrupt. The banks bust the country in 2007 but it suited the Tories and their rich banking friends to blame the whole lot on Labour. How many bank bosses are in prison for the total mis management of our hard earned. The people who decided it was a good idea to buy the bad morgage debts from America that would never get repaid. Have they ever been put in court? You steal cash from your local you get fined or put away. Steal from the pension pot and you get to party on your boat. Rant over as you were
Sometimes though its a shock moving from State to private pensions. What people were promised was not affordable in reality because they depended on taxpayers to foot the bill. Once a real company is involved regardless of fat bonuses at the top, a few tens of thousands of people expecting to be paid 2/3 of what they were on while working (Philips Final Salary Scheme e..g.) cost more than any fat cat overpaid boss..
It is both robbery and fraud - there need to be more of these fat cats being brought to book and then locked up. After the banking crisis in 2008 , Iceland locked up several senior bankers - how many in UK were - none - threatening to remove knighthoods isn't good enough.
Lets hope so. Trouble is the government and its business M.P.s won't want to admit they chucked a load of our money away. and the fat cats and dodgy auditors have the money and expensive city lawyers to protect them. they are all pigs feeding at the trough.
