Went to bed last night with a headache and bunged up nose, woke up this morning with head full of cotton wool and a nose like a dripping warm tap;).
Supposed to be picking up the T25 today which the guy says he's started up ok and moved from its resting place of 3 years .
So thinking it through I decide to take the pickup to the workshop 6 miles in the opposite direction, cycle back home , have a brew then cycle to get the new van another 5 miles, all off road tow paths mostly, it's *******ing down but hey ho.
Start to organise insurance and booked an MOT locally so it's all legal.
Intending to bring T25 home to the space vacated by pickup.
Arrive at the sellers looking like a mud monster, strip off the waterproofs Chuck the bike in the van, do the paperwork and hand over the money.
Jump in the van, fire it up , find reverse left and forward
Reverse slightly uphill on drive about 20 feet then grind to a halt as the brakes lock up enough to stall it, just about make it move forward down hill.
No tools no Jack no hope:eek:
Park up, get the bike back out, put the muddy waterproof back on, ride 5 wet miles back home, hose myself and bike off, have a bath, watch quizzes on telly , have some cold remedies.
Will go back on Sunday morning with the trailer like I should have done in the first place

  11. They'd be looking at pictures of kittens and doing crochet work. It would be a disaster.

Good luck sounds like every thing is under control then.
Man flu is a social disease and best avoided.
Today has unfolded well so far and I'm relaxing with some happy banter and a Guinness..

For the crochet workers of East Timor, as their industry goes down the pan.

  14. I feel your pain. I've been suffering since Tuesday and got through two boxes of tissues in two days. Had chance for a beer last night but wouldn't face it. Must be bad. Better write a will up.

Tissues are no good for man flu! You need a handkerchief the size of a tablecloth.
