Funny you mention that - I pad my dosh around 4 months ago and heard nothing, but did get out of office reply in German. I suspect it's just the one lady working on them. Still - it's that German efficiency we keep hearing about at work.
I may drop em an email, it will be 6 months end of this month, it does say allow up to 6 months though, somebody on here did say they emailed and did help, .. I think they did anyway.
I have had the same issue... I applied on 20 March, emailed on 18 July and got this back: "I'm very sorry but the reason is the shortage of personnel and restructuring since January 2014. I do the best I can but you have to wait longer than regular." Emailed again on 12 September and got an out of office until 23 September... ...so I might get it before the anniversary of my original request...who knows!
I claimed my money back from my credit card company as moved before it arrived after waiting 5 months.
Don't bother emailing them, they have always taken ages. Just a give them a ring, that's what I did, and hey presto it appeared a few days later. It is only one nice old lady who looks after this. It comes from the museum in Wolfsburg, and she looks after all of the certs that are requested worldwide.
