    So finally!

After lots of other stuff got in the way, I finally stripped down my bike. Since my first post I have been gathering tools and parts for it.
New jockey wheels, chain, top ring on the front 3 gang chain ring, free hub 7 speed cassette, bottom bracket and two new wheels! Didn’t know wheels could wear out!
Question: I have lots of different pots of grease in the shed:

Castrol LM grease, Castrol Heavy duty Grease, general purpose grease and white lithium grease.

Which one should I use for the bottom bracket and threads and the crank?

    Thank you

    Paul.

  5. Looks like you have your answer man but any’s better than none. I’d go for your Nirvana inspired answer from your options too :)

One of my ‘racing’ bikes is on its second set of wheels. Depending on how slow you are, they don’t last long. ( Brake walls on the rims wear through.).
