I guess somewhere on here it's been talked about in the past but I was thinking what company you guys think makes the best panels ? It might be the case there are several different company that make good repro panels etc but what do you guys think ? I get alot of panels from one local company who imports them from belgium they are good think panels and at a good price, alot better then the brazilian stuff I have used in the past. I know hookies panels are the best you can get for beetle stuff I only wish he had full size panels for T2's
Well I hoping for more then just schofields, as I have used them alot and they are no different then heritage, they don't make every panel anymore they buy in and sell the same crap. I was thinking of who on here has got a good say full side panel from who ? and how well did it fit etc etc sort of a panel guide rather then just a company. I say KGC panels in bristol do the best jacking points at a very good price for bays etc On the other side of things I would not use a repro front cross member for a beetle that came from any brazilian company.
if you ask schofields they do better quality stuff but you usually have to specifically ask, brazilian are good for front arches battery trays front jacking points outriggers sills and complete side panels and all the cab stuff really. rear complete corners too. what panels are you after?
I'm not after panels really I have a good supplier I use, I just thought a list of good places to get the best panels would be handy rather then people buying repro stuff and finding out it does not fit etc
