Best fruit for checking your oil

Mine drips oil out until its somewhere near the top of the dipstick so all I do is put a bit too much in and drive it .

I park it nose down on a slope so filling up the oil is always approximate.

Providing it reads over minimum with the nose down then there will not be a problem on the level.
