Just come back from the Nations League finals in Portugal, awesome time. Went to both England games and not a spot of bother. Don't read all the marmite in the daily mail Guardian etc I was right by the incident they kept going on about and it was over in a flash. 5 arrests and they make out it was like a war zone. Compared with 370 arrests at Notting Hill and 71 at Glastonbury it was quite good in my books.
The town sold about 4 months worth of beer on Sunday, the locals were great sports singing England songs, waving flags, smiling and clapping us. Many of them had crates of beer and were flogging bottles for a Euro as we walked past.
