    3 the clash hammersmth o 1976 new world opens.

    4 Andrea Boccelli men arena 2002 voice of an angel

    5 the jam malvern winter grds 1977/8/9 raw anger.

    Kiss - Stafford Bingley Hall (yes where Dubfreeze is held) with a new band called Bon Jovi in 1984.
    Madness at the reunion gig ""Madstock" in London Finsbury Park 1992 - Ian Dury support.
    A-ha - 3 times nec/nia absolute excellent live band and the voice is as good live as recorded.
    Gary Moore/Whitesnake - nec, Moore was excellent 'snake dissapointing.
    Chas and Dave - The Robin 2 Bilston- wicked!
    These gigs stand out for me off the top of my head, i've seen many more bands including some strange ones.....(M-people!)
    I have more fun watching tribute bands to be honest.
    check out HI-on Maiden, Dressed to Kill, Times like these. 3 tribute bands i see a lot.

    Moby - 1997 Glastonbury Dance Tent
    Culture Shock and RDF - 1989 Bournemouth (name of the venue escapes me)
    Chumbawamba and Credit to the Nation - 1992ish Peterborough Shamrock
    The Pogues - 1990 Newcastle City Hall
    Orbital - 1996ish Alexander Palace NYE
    Lily Allen with Terry Hall and Lynval Goulding of the Specials (the precursor to The Specials reforming) - 2008 Glastonbury
    Back to the Planet - 1992 Castlemorton

    The Who .. Festival Hall Melbourne 25 Jan 1968 with The Small Faces as support :)

    These were the early gigs & a lot more since ;D

    seen quite afew bands over the years ....strangest one was when the lead guitarist couldnt play his own lead parts ,had to have a session man play em ......oh yeah that was dave gilmour ....what a faker......i always thought when listening to his later cd,s that the leads are all cut together in the studio ......cheesy but true .....

    The Damned countless times
    The White stripes secret gig in a club in North london
    Some russian choir in canterbury blew me away.

    Nick, the really scary thing is I still have the ticket stubs & programmes from every concert I've ever been too. :-[
    SAHB, I'd love to have seen them, one of his ex bass players lives near my brother up north.

  15. wildhearts ...see them when they were starting out years ago in a pub in bethnal green .....dont think they liked being heckled from 2 foot away ...you could see the fear in there eyes ....loved the gig tho...

    1972 Jethro Tull at the Royal Albert Hall.

    I was 16 and they played the whole of 'Thick as a Brick'

    Blew me away!

    1975 Carol King at the Rainbow.

    You could get stoned just breathing in the air around you O0

    Iron Maiden and others at Donnington 1985 or 6...it's all a bit vague
    Heaps of bands at small gigs like the Marquee club when it was in Wardour St, done a bit of roadieing for a band called Seducer.
    Ozric Tentacles lots of times at the Crypt in Deptford :hippy:
    Hawkwind, Doctor and the Medics and Dame Vera Lynn and others at Crystal palace.
    Blondie, Terrorvision, Motorhead and heaps of others at bike rallies.
    Roadied for Elton John.....I think he's a git but a very professional performer, can't fault him...cept the git bit.
    Orbital and the Freestylers in Jerez Spain.
    Bex Marshall.....good parties at her gaff...lots of peeps playing blues :)
    Supertramp.
    Loads more, but as you can imagine, my memory is vague as I wasn't exactly straight at any of them ;)
