Best £20 I have spent on the camper (numberplates)

  1. Ordered them off eBay for £20 made from pressed aluminium I'm over the moon with them I think they were the missing bit from the van I hated the euro plates that were on it

    are they reflective and legal? if so i may get some to replace my illegal ones before MOT time.

  4. nice. do they do B&aw ones too? I am running B&W ones on my 77 and have got through two MOTs with them but fancy some that are better made. can you posta link to where you got them from please.

    As for legal yes they are reflective but they do not have the British standard number or postcode of where they were made on them. For me that was a positive as I didn't want that clutter + when the camper was made in 1974 that wouldn't of been on it then

  9. I managed to get some nice B&W ones. not fitted them yet but they look lovely. Not exactly legal but surely looking nice is a reasonable defence? I am running B&W plates for three years without bother. Famous last words........
