  1. Hi all,
can someone please send me a pic of the underside of the Berlin table with the fold out flap.
I've managed to gather parts together over the last 2 years, various table tops, hinges rubbers etc.
Now that i've made up my table, I am left with a slightly smaller version of the Berlin table ( cute ), i had a full size flap that I cut down to suit the table top i had, now that i've fitted the hinges and put the flap on I need to see how the flap stays up when its not in use.........so if you could send me a pic of the underside of your table that would be fab.
    thanks Lee :)

  2. now added the pics, will get a pic of it set up in Bertie tomorrow :)

  3. I sat on the next table to Little Jimmy Osmond in a berlin restaurant , oh that doesnt count does it , sorry.

  5. Hi all,

i can't help but i got the smaller one without the flap and that's a pain in the ass, you can see why so many of them go missing, you can't move when they're in! good luck finding pic's - you looked on the samba?

  7. Cheers Ricky
......thought you were going to comment on the "flaps hanging down"......but I was wrong! ;)

Underneath the table, there is a thing with a "nipply" type affair sticking up, you can see the outline of where it sat in your third picture down, left hand side - the circular lighter shaded part of wood on the hinged flap. Its round in shape and engages in a prestud type thing on the main table part, it looks like both of these are missing on your piccies.

I cant take a photo of ours as the westy is not here

  9. Cheers MorkC
thanks for that, surely someones got a pic they can show me ...... please ;D

  11. Cheers for that lofty,
we did it ourselves, bought bits of fabric when it came up on ebay until we had enough ...sold any crappy bits back on and bought new fire retardant foam, just kept the best pieces ...same with the units...buying the odd bit here and there- taking off the best bits / swapping with the below par bits we had then moving it back on, until we had as good as we could get. glad you like.
    cheers Lee

  12. K+ for doing the work yourself. What about your front seats ? Did you do those as well ?

  13. Many Thanks CkandJK
thats just what I needed, fab...now I can see what I never had...and will probably never find....had a look at the other pics ...and is that Skenfrith castle?...it's only approx 15 miles from us ( if it is ) we usually take a picnic along a few times a year when we get the chance, the kids love to run around the ruin.
thanks again for taking the time
    cheers
    Lee :)

  14. thanks for the K lofty,
    back at ya.
We were lucky enough to pick up a pair of seat covers ...they are a bit faded and worn but a quick handwash and a few repair patchs and they will do for now ( plans to tackle a retrim in the future as we have a little fabric set aside )
so we stripped down my ebay ultimate bargain buy - a pair of early T25 westy seats= £5.99 and with a little persuading and a bit of luck they wil do us for now -- and they are realy comfy too...heres a few pics
    cheers
    Lee

  15. Nice one Lee. If I decide to tackle myself, I may ask for some tips ;D

  16. Bertie, any chance you've got a spare one of those brackets on the underside of the table - the round one that fits into the end of the L shaped leg?

  17. Sorry Bay birmingham ,
    i haven't got one.
    cheers
    Lee
