  1. Hi all,
just wondered has anyone been to the VW show at Berkeley castle before, i think it was cancelled earlier in the year but is now happening at the end of the month.....30th sept, a Sunday 10-4pm..i think.
so.. anyone going..or been before?....looks a nice setting
    ;)

  2. I think it's quite small but a mate went last year and said it was good, I'm going this year.

  3. too far for moi x

  4. Hi, Yes I'm going but just for the day. I was on this forum recently asking about buying a van a Busfest at Malvern and actually found one for sale in the car park! So I'll be there looking to steal ideas from all the other vans there. Looking forward to it!

  6. I went for the day last year.

It was so-so, the displays were a bit mediocre (better kit in the car park), there was only one stall for autojumble.

But it was only £5 to get in iirc....

  7. Yes ,
its just the Sunday 10-4pm, so i suppose it will take a few years to get it up to a major event...perhaps we ought to do a Club display of our late bays!!!!!

  8. Hey ,
Tiny pie is that your bus?....did you find your fally off bit!!!

  9. Will put a picture on later but it's one of the Dorset Cereals prizes that was restored by
VWKampers (the promotion logos have been removed). The prize winner didn't want it so I've bought it from her.
I absolutely love it. BUT I've only driven it (her) 3 times and the inside absolutely reeks
of petrol. I haven't tried lighting the gas cooker for fear of an explosion. Any ideas
    anyone? :-

  11. Thank you MorkC68. I took it to a local garage owned by a VW enthusiast this lunch time
and he checked some of the pipes etc on the spot and said that they were all the new
ones. We couldn't see any fuel leaks either so he's putting it on a the ramp to look.
I'll find out soon but I've got a feeling this isn't going to be cheap...........

PS I see you are an Administrator - can you explain what these Karma points are, how
    and why they are given?

if someone does you a good turn, give them a karma point (K+), if you feel someone is being horrible then deduct a karma point (K-)!!

  13. Thank you - how do I actually do this? Apologies if I'm being incredibly thick here. I
did do a post once but can't work how to do that again either. :-[
