Bought a regular non powered one last year using the assumption that my new tiny fire was useless for cooking anything on when steaming after a Stella or two. Cheese toasties after beer or baked bean toasties after beer ,,,, what’s not to like hhhmmm? Well I’ll tell you what’s not too like,,,,,, got one after searching online fir several eternities and got it to the campfire only to discover that they would appear to have miniature bread in China or wherever this thing was made. The loaf of bread was promptly tipped into the fire in a hissy fit and the sandwich toaster (miniature) was relegated to somewhere in the van and out of sight where it still resides to this day. I shall resume my search for a proper sized one in due course. I used to have an alloy one when I lived in Oz back in the sixties and seventies that you either popped under the grill or wanged onto the hob and it was perfect and had the diagonal separator doo dah too.
