He only stuck them up a couple of years ago. I need to put our fence back incase he moves his sheds 'cos then I'd be able to see them from my kitchen.
Well that highlights the shortcomings of the written word as opposed to sitting round a campfire chatting. I'll just pop a smily up so you know there's no hard feelings and that I feel slightly embarrassed at not seeing the joke straight away. But now I've read that through and realised that my post could be construed as ironic and sarcastic so I'm going to put two smileys up to prove it isn't. Although that might even be heavier irony so I'll put three, actually, no I won't because this is getting out of hand.
Well between work and downpours I've been busy starting to sort out the garden. So far I've gone from this... To this... I intend to rebuild the two piers that blew over with the old bricks and I've got some new fence panels once the piers are finished but I'm wondering if there are any gardener's on here because I wanted to do something special in the way of plants in the long bed but as I don't know much about plants I'm not sure what's possible.
id do aris rails n feathered edge ,panels a blow down again , really you just want something colourful at bottom climbers are just work n wreck the fence, fruit trees good but birds will poo on your washing after eating them , does this help
I had a letter from a customer yesterday dropped through my door. I put a fence up over ten years ago. 3" wooden posts and bog standard lap panels. Didn't want to pay for concrete posts and gravel boards. It was complaining that their fence had blown down in the recent 80mph gusts, and asking basically when I'm coming to replace it as they were expecting it to last 20 years lol
@sANDYbAY i did feel for you loosing your wall but my fence has blown down and costing me £1200 gutted or what
