Battlesbridge - Essex - 23-24 June 2012

Anyone going to this one i haven't seen it mentioned anywhere

It's been confirmed just this afternoon that the Battlesbridge show has been postponed until 23rd/24th June due to the ongoing wet weather and waterlogged field... http://www.battlesbridge.com/events.php

I was looking forward to that one as it was our first show last year and it was a good day. I'm sure we'll be there on the 23rd June, but the 24th now clashes with this at The Lawn in Rochford, which was also a great show last year... http://www.classiccar-retroshow.co.uk/future_events.html

 

Oh plop, i booked a day off as well, thanks for telling me :-

 

Title was wrong someone changed it to july when it got rained off, its not it is next weekend 23 - 24 June

 

I'll be at this show. Quite a relaxed affair, went last year. Will turn up Saturday morning and camp over.

Went a couple of years back. Really enjoyed it. As jonspadge says, very relaxed. I'll be there Sunday.

I went Saturday, very good little show, worth going to, ill defiantly go again ;D

was a little quiet, as it was postponed from b4, and clashed with Lavenham and the ssvc show, which are both only on every 4 years

 

We thought it was a good show with some great looking vehicles. Some really nice vans there, quite liked the beige one with the '5 fan' plate but the owner had disappeared before I could say hi !

 

Good weekend camping at Battlesbridge VW Show in Essex







Had a temp badge done by a cartoonist at the show, bit randon, but looks cool, will be gone when i get the repaint done



Splitterz VW Club line up, and we won best club which was cool
shame i had to rush off to get him to a school friends birthday party, so missed the announcement
