I have a 65 or 80 cant remember which couple with a solar panel it does everything I need CFX 35 toolbox and bit of charging
https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke-ig1200b-11kw-inverter-generator/ How about a1.1KW portable generator if you really need to run a laptop, Fridge etc this is probably A cheaper option than a leisure battery, split charge relay and solar panels in the long run And you can even charge your van battery from it if it goes flat Win Win
Most campsites don't allow generators these days because they are blimmin' anti social chugging away.
Indeed . Also all laptops are limited by aviation rules to 100WH batteries so that the fire they produce will be less likely to take down a plane. Its the mass of lithium metal that is the limit. So its six 18650 cells max.
You might be less antisocial buying an expensive Honda with more silencing, more likely to still run after a few days use.
Fits in with room to spare. I chose it so it roughly matches my starter battery, which is also 70ah. Probably somewhat academic as they’re a little different in characteristics, condition and load/charge states, but I’m paranoid about split charging two different batteries and so on since I blew the last one up trickle-charging two batteries on charger via the split charge relay, so wanted them roughly the same. I use two isolated trickle chargers now anyway. My leisure one only runs radio cassette, cigarette/charger socket, tracker/alarm, strip light in the rear and my Propex - which I never use!
That’s just wrong! Forget all about that rubbish! Your out there camping to forget about drum normal everyday life! Find them something else to do!
