Just brought a pair of Securon fronts seatbelts from JK and noticed these for sale from various suppliers .Question is has anyone ever fitted them ? and also am I going mad but surely the two holes in the upright just do not correspond with the standards seatbelts reel mounting large single hole ? type2-bay-cab-seat-belt-brackets-pair-vw-bay-867-779-oem-partnr211809257_2.jpg

I believe they had a different factory belt for that bracket, what makes you think they’re Australian?

That would make sense .I have never fitted or removed a belt with twin bolts .They are advertised as fitted by VW Australia

I had a look on the net and quite a few company's sell them but surely you don't have to fit special seat belts ? Not all Aussie buses had them just some to meet government requirements .I like the idea of moving the reel out of the way .

  7. That is a poss. The belt brackets fitted to my UK bus had a “Conforms to BS….” sticker in them.
