Attaching ply to cargo floor

  1. Evening all,

What's the best method for this, as I need to ensure it stays flat for bed and units? I presumed the few self tappers I used we're the correct size they weren't :( So now have a few small holes to sort from the screws
    Many thanks

Yeah, what Zed said. It means you can make sure the screws go into the depressions underneath which are the raised bits on top.

  5. Cheers guys will have another go after work tomorrow!

You don't need many. I think I've got about ten on my floor. Just make sure the screws won't pierce the top of the floor. I did mine with a saucer of waxoyl beside me and just smothered the screws in it before I screwed them in.

  8. I've pierced the underneath a few times so going to fill the holes then wax oil it, I'm now worried about the section of flooring above the engine as this will be the same?. Will dip the screws in waxoyl first thanks for the advice
