Here's a better way living in yorkshire and being in cornwall for two weeks just jump on the back off one of these on your way home sorted
Ahhh now i see Damm im too honest and resourcefull I would have had my pride severly low if i hadent carried out a running repair and got the bus home come hell or high water Installing faults to get your bus home on the cheap is a new one on me
I work for a company making generators, I'll suggest this as a renewable energy solution and see what they say )
when my clutch cable snapped the other week our george was upset that the rac towed it with a tranny van not the "propper truck"
Woody who do you think pays when you get a fraudulent lift home? Ultimately its everybody else who uses the recovery company through their premiums. Its not "roguish and amusing" you are not "sticking it to the man" you are sticking it to everybody else on this forum. Particularly when many of us are quaking at the increasing cost of stuff to keep our hobby live, including the cost of recovery.
Either it was dodgy (which you implied orginally) in which case my comment stands or it wasn't in which case you want to pretend it was fraudulent for some reason. In which case unsurprisingly I am mistaken (like others apparently) and therefore wrong in taking what you posted at face value, perhaps you need a "I am pretending to be a bit dodgy" icon cos otherwise I can't tell.

It "mysteriously" appeared in your pocket you said implying either you didn't know it was there or you'd pulled a fast one on the recoverers. Just how I read it.
