Anyone else interested? I'd say Australia are ahead by 30 runs and a wicket. Old Garry Ozs' spinner has been the difference . Our innings about 50 short, but saying that, where some have failed, others have flourished. Anderson has got the Kookabora moving, though Smith is scoring at will. 2 wkts for England or only losing 1 for Oz at lunch be about par?
Keeps me awake, I just have to know the score. Evenly balanced today so need some big scores from the top order, time for Cookie to come to the party.
Not a good start to our 2nd innings sadly, need Stoneman and Root to dig in now. Love the cricket, but dammit getting up early on the weekend to watch a couple of hours isn’t my ideal!!
My dad's fuming that it's not on Sky. The only reason he and mum have sky is so that they can watch cricket!
The only way to watch cricket is through the eyes of the commentators on TMS. That way you can do other things like working on your bus at the same time.
TMS is the best without a doubt, I always have LW Radio 4 on during a cricket series. I have Sky Sports, primarily for cricket and darts as the football I enjoy isn’t deemed good enough for TV, so was a bit gutted that Sky seem to have let The Ashes go, but luckily I get BT Sport 1 as a freebie with my Broadband package. Can’t beat TMS though
I agree. Sky commentary is not great. Nasser talks a load of tosh half the time, Warnie is tedious and Gower is rather conceited. Aggers is a legend.
Ozzies day by 1 wkt and 20ish runs. Ball wasnt up to muster, but seeing as he's about 3rd choice after all the injuries running up to the game I suppose he cant be blamed. Not liking the look of Anderson towards the end of the Australian innings. At least Rooty had bit of sense slapped into him. https://www.cricket.com.au/video/mi...-first-ashes-test-gabba-highlights/2017-11-25
I have an old valve radio in the workshop for the sole purpose of listening to cricket, somehow it just seems right
Ozzies day and match. Well played, good hostile pace bowling, as it should be. At least will get some sleep tonight.
