Have been kicking around the idea of vinyl wrapping the bus for a few years til we strip back for a full on bare metal resto. Really like the Havana Rum bus someone posted a link to...which got me thinking (always a dangerous thing)...and in usual feet first fashion today I've taken some action... I have written to the marketing manager of Bombay Sapphire to ask if they would be interested in sponsoring a bespoke Bombay Sapphire vinyl wrap for Arthur for the next 2 years. Spot of ambient marketing for them, adverts at festivals and up and down the motorways, and a few £££ extra for a spot of pimping for Arthur (lowering, new steels and power steering for starters). Fingers crossed for a good response...
If they did get back to you - it would have a whole load of clauses in it which would make it a nightmare for you. You would have to be at X amount of shows - their choice - agree to a certain about of motorway mileage every year. I used to work in Marketing (and brand promotion) and its a very odd world.
Zoe - Mike4's Van (the Havana Club van) isn't promotional - he paid for it the logo to be put on there So if Bombay Sapphire don't come back you could always ask him who did his decal and see if they will do one for you
