Are you wimpy or brave when you are poorly?

I am wimpy. Very wimpy.

I have got a cold :'( I feel rubbish and I look like an out of season Rudolph

 

i just want to be left alone and let me get over it

 

Neither. I'm stupid. I do daft things like going to work and trying to ignore the fact I'm ill.

 

Wimpy, i have a high temperature and shiverring at the moment and all i want to do is just sit down

 

depends on what kind of 'poorly' .. i used to be brave and stupid and try to work through being ill - but over the last few years i have realised the only way to get better is to rest and look after mind, body and soul.

but i am not wimpy - i am just me - but a poorly version of it

 

Wimp, but only when I have man flu

 

I find drowning a cold in alcohol helps. Brandy and baileys mixed together, yum! It's great being ill

 

Brave but sometimes stupid. I spent a long time off work due to a long term injury I have, as a result in my new job I try to never have time off and I admit I suffer for it sometimes. stupid I know

always grumpy when I'm ill, poor kids.

I normally try to carry on and ignore the cold.....then feel worse for it : Best way to knock the bugs on the head is to gargle with some port! If if it doesn't kill the bugs you are soon too sloshed to care! ;D

 

I'm brave, you won't catch me complaining & sniffling.


Edit Apparently I have fibbed in this post & have been told to correct the post, I AM NOT brave but a wimpy big girlyman whenever I feel a wee bit poorly.

Man up tis only a cold, get on with work.

Mind you last time I had the sniffles I nearly died 5 times through the night, I was that ILL.

 

I'm home in plaster after breakin to bones in my foot after my last camper trip, lol
